After 3 successful seasons racing in the John Cooper Challenge / Mini Challenge Rob Austin tested his skills in the 2007 Blaupunkt Seat Cupra Championship. Now, for 2008, Rob has set himself a new challenge of competing in Europe in the Benelux Renault Clio Championship, these meetings take place on European Grand Prix circuits, racing in front of crowds of 120,000 people.
Based in Hampshire, Rob's continued success has enabled him to secure sponsorship from some prestigious local companies - including Orchard Homes.
In addition, and with the added encouragement of his son Simon, who is competing in the 2008 Ginetta Junior Championship, competing in front of crowds of 35,000 people supporting the British Touring Cars, Rob has launched Team RSA to encourage the development of more drivers and to offer hospitality opportunities at some of Europe's top racing venues.
